The Las Vegas Pipe Band is made up of a diverse group of musicians, all coming together in the spirit of Pipe Band Life! Read more about them below:
ANDREW FUSCO | PIPE MAJOR
Andrew "The Beard" Fusco, our fearless leader, has been playing pipes since 2000. Originally from New York, Fusco moved out West to seek fame and fortune as a bagpiper in sunny Las Vegas.
In addition to competing as a Grade 2 soloist, Fusco leads the Grade 4 Las Vegas Pipe Band into battle, and has also played with several other bands across the West Coast. He derives his magic from his beard, and it is said that each early "E" during performance adds another gray hair to his powerful chin-warmer.
ZACH PETERSON | DRUM Sergeant
Zach "Zach Attack" Peterson enjoys long walks on the beach, taking pictures, and of course leading our intrepid Drum Corps as Drum Sergeant!
Zach started playing snare in 2004, and since has competed in both Grade 3 & Grade 4 Pipe Band contests. He is currently studying at Nevada State College, and hopes to earn a degree within the next 10 years.
LAUREN BOITEL | PIPER
In addition to being the band President, Lauren has been learning pipes for 4 years and is now competing with the LVPB Grade 4 band!
During her (very limited) free time, Lauren enjoys shooting, hiking, and of course practicing pipes.
ANGEL HINOJOSA | PIPE CPl.
Angel "Merlin" Hinojosa is our resident funny guy, and has been playing pipes since 2007.
When not performing with LVPB or competing as a Grade 4 soloist, Angel's hobbies include going to the gym, being late to practice, and getting married.
ERIC POLESKI | PIPE Cpl.
When not putting out figurative fires in the Las Vegas Pipe Band with his maintenance mastery, Eric puts out literal fires as a Battalion Chief with the Fire Department.
In addition to playing with the Las Vegas Pipe Band, Eric competes as a Grade 3 soloist and enjoys paying guitar, going on cruises, pulling pranks on the Pipe Major.
JADEN LOGAN | DRUMMER
Jaden is our resident prodigy drummer -- he started playing at only 3 years old!
Jaden currently competes as a Grade 3 soloist, and was bumped up after getting a perfect score in his first Grade 4 contest. He once tried to eat 10lbs of hamburger at the Prescott Games, but doesn't like talking about it.
JOSH MACEACHERN | PIPE SGT.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Josh is the mastermind behind the ever-ridiculous Las Vegas Pipe Band YouTube Channel.
Josh currently competes as a Grade 3 soloist when not organizing the Las Vegas Highland Games, or trying to drink the beer tent dry.
BEN KLINK | DRUMMER
Ben "Big Sexy" Klink has been rocking out with Las Vegas Pipe Band since 2013, and currently keeps the beats thumping on the bass drum.
In addition to playing with LVPB, Ben plays drum kit with several bands around town, and gives the best hugs in the band!
WILLIAM THOMPSON | PIPER
Wil is our resident musical theater expert, Star Wars nerd, and band Vice President. He started playing in 2015, and currently competes as a Grade 4 soloist.
In addition to playing with LVPB, Wil sings in a Jewish Klezmir Band, and can turn any pipe tune into a jazz tune and sing it on request!
JEREMY TYREE | PIPER
Don't mess with LVPB, or you get the Jeremy! Jeremy not only is one of our favorite pipers ever, but he actually commutes from Yuma AZ just to play with Las Vegas Pipe Band!
A former Marine and current Firefighter, when Jeremy isn't piping he enjoys spending time with his family and sipping on his favorite beverage -- Hennessey and Coke!
CLAIR STEWART | PIPER
A structural engineer happily married for 30 years (with 4 kids), Clair is one of our newest pipers to join the ranks! He is quickly improving on pipes, and has a deep-seated fear of falling down during a gig from tripping over his kilt.
DANIELA FLORES | PIPER
A transplant from Mexico City, Daniela has been playing pipes since 2012 and currently competes as a Grade 4 soloist.
Her hobbies include photography, taking over the jukebox at the local bar, and going to Burning Man!
GENEVIEVE BUSCH MEYER | PIPER
As our Band Secretary and social outing guru, Genny makes sure that we're playing just as hard as we work!
Genny also competes in the Grade 4 band, and as a Grade 4 soloist. Way to go Genny!
